Initially, it made the most sense to mount the readout to the end of the boom, but when transporting the trike, it's nice to be able to completely remove the boom without having to deal with the console's wires.  So, we designed this mount.  It's placement makes it easy to read without taking your eyes off of the road in front of you.  It's strong, light, and good looking, too.
